Client: Discover Financial Services Industry: Financial Project: Direct Mail Concept / Direct Mail and Diagram Redesign / Direct Mail Production / Production Management Problem: This before sample (left) shows the important elements that had been bolded and enlarged in this mailing, too many times. Solution: This after sample (right) shows the campaign that was most successful. The client’s response to Ted’s redesign was "great!" An improved response rate followed, too. Pictured above are the before (left) and after (right) samples of integrated direct response campaigns for Discover Financial Services. In redesigning it, the goal was to reestablish the headline, as the strongest element on the page. Proving that white space is not a waste of money. Ted’s on-going responsibilities included creating templates for an envelope, letter and flyer. He also created page layouts, applying branding and building mechanically correct files. Responsibilities included following client branding, style guidelines and studio protocols. Ted has had vast opportunities to develop integrated direct mail campaigns. He has a great deal of experience with exploring typography, developing color palettes and creating original graphics. Contributions for direct mail campaigns have included art direction, branding, design, production and management. These are a variety of examples. |
